What is the Gospel?
The word “Gospel” simply means “Good News.” And here’s the good news:
You are loved. You are not alone. You are not too far gone.
God created you with a purpose. But we’ve all fallen short of God’s standard — we’ve sinned, and sin separates us from Him.
(Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”)
But God didn’t leave us in our brokenness.
The Rescue Mission
Because of His great love for us, God sent His Son — Jesus Christ — to live a perfect life, die on the cross for our sins, and rise from the dead three days later, conquering death forever.
(John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”)
Jesus took the punishment we deserved so we could be forgiven and restored into a right relationship with God.
(Romans 5:8 – “But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”)
How Do You Receive This Gift?
Salvation isn’t about being good enough or trying harder.
It’s about surrendering and putting your faith in Jesus — trusting that His death and resurrection are enough to save you.
Romans 10:9 says,
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
It’s that simple. It’s a gift. All you have to do is receive it.
